The Castle Church is considered by the city of Chemnitz to be a balcony because of its elevated position. After 1136, the Benedictines initially created a monastery on the mountain. The most important building: the Marienkirche. This did not always withstand the injustice and taste of the times. Destroyed, rebuilt and rebuilt several times, this church in Chemnitz is now considered the "most valuable building".
