The Protestant Church of Our Lady in Arnstadt is a parish church and was built around 704. The eastern nave, a former chancel tower, and the late Romanesque south tower were built around 1100, the "false galleries" above the side aisles around 1200, the Gothic north tower around 1250, and the east end, consisting of the transept and hall church, around 1300.
