The well-preserved and still fully active water mill in Maschen-Horst is a popular meeting place for families, cyclists, canoeists and walkers. Located directly on the Seeve, the rippling of the water has a calming effect on every visitor. You will also find a stage of the Seeve cycle path here. The mill dates back to 1529 or earlier and is owned by the Schmanns family, who run the "Zur Horster Mühle" restaurant with great love.

Very nice, well-developed cycle path along the Seeve Canal with rest benches, information boards and a great view of the moor.

This corner is a special highlight on the Heidschnuckenweg.

Nice bike path between Harburg and Meckelfeld. But doesn't a new highlight have to be created every 200 m, does it?

Nice old mill with a nice restaurant and outdoor area

Attention racing cyclists: at the end of the Seevedamm towards Meckelfeld there is bad cobblestone under the bridge. If it is not "long", you can also push it.

If you are looking for a shady spot for a drink break on the Seevekanal, you can find it here. There is very little traffic here.
