A very beautiful piece of nature, which can be visited at any time of year.

The Nepomuk statue is a replica of a late Baroque Nepomuk statue. This sandstone statue was made by the Worek company in Eggenburg. It stands on the Kamp Bridge, whose road leads to Rosenburg Castle. To the right of it, a path/road leads to the Kamp Power Station and the former Zienner Mill.

The winery today belongs to the Cistercian Abbey of Zwettl in the Waldviertel region, which acquired the castle from a nobleman in 1740. The abbey owned extensive lands in Kammern and Gobelsburg as early as 1171, and of course, vineyards in the best locations. From 1958 onward, the later Abbot of Zwettl, Father Bertrand Baumann, an excellent expert, managed the winery with a steady hand. He turned the "Gobelsburg Mass Wine" into a widely recognized brand. The aged wines from his era impressively demonstrate his skills.

Gobelsburg Castle in Lower Austria's Kamptal Valley is not only a historic building, but also one of Austria's oldest and most renowned wineries. The beginnings of winemaking at this site date back to 1171; the present castle, with its Renaissance core, was rebuilt in the Baroque style in the 18th century. It has belonged to the Cistercian monastery of Zwettl since 1740, and since 1996, the winery has been managed by Michael and Eva Moosbrugger together with Willi Bründlmayer. On approximately 75 hectares of vineyards, they produce award-winning white and red wines – primarily Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.

Wikipedia: Schiltern Castle is a mighty three-winged complex with four round towers, built between the 16th and 18th centuries. [...] Around 1596, Erasmus Leisser had the estate located on the western edge of the village expanded into the north wing of the current complex. The west and south wings were added between 1629 and 1636. In 1645, the castle was plundered and devastated by Swedish troops. Around 1740, the castle was largely remodeled in the Baroque style. [...] Since 1987, the castle has belonged to the Schiltern Psychosocial Center GmbH. At the Schiltern Psychosocial Center, people with various mental disabilities are supported in their reintegration into the job market. Through meaningful employment in workshops, support, and encouragement, difficult living situations are fundamentally improved. Schiltern Psychosocial Center GmbH has leased parts of the castle garden to the Arche Noah association.
