Gobelsburg Castle
The estate was expanded into a stately castle in 1725. In 1740, the Zwettl Abbey acquired the castle. In the castle chapel there is a ceiling painting depicting Mary and a side altar painting depicting St. Bernhard by Kremser Schmidt from 1769.[3] Until the 1990s, the castle housed a branch of the Austrian Museum of Folklore. Gobelsburg Castle is the seat of the Gobelsburg Castle winery.

Two lion figures on a pedestal (Gobelsburg Castle)
On pedestals at the castle entrance there are two stone lions marked 1868, which were transferred here from the Aspern Bridge in Vienna. The sculptures are by Franz Melnitzky.
