The Käppele, or also: Capuchin Monastery Nikolausberg, can be seen from the Marienberg Fortress and can also be reached in about 2km. The ascent takes place over many old stairs in several "floors" / stations... almost meditatively. There are tall trees, apostle sculptures and benches in the shade on each new floor. The view from the top is beautiful!

The "Käpple" is a beautiful church, just grandiose inside, from the outside you have a great view of Würzburg, the Main Valley and the Marienberg Fortress.

The garden in the fortress is beautifully laid out and a real eye-catcher. Well maintained

Beautifully landscaped courtyard garden. In the summer, with the residence in the background, a very nice motif. 📸
