From the Iberger Albert Tower you have a wonderful panoramic view all the way to the Brocken. As of 2024, admission costs 1€. The Iberger Albert Tower is a stamping point for the HWN, the Wildemanner hiking pin and the Baudensteig. So: don't forget your stamp booklets!😉 The restaurant will be remodeled as of 2024 - but there will be a large self-service range so that no one has to starve here. Not far from the tower there is also a great view of the nearby quarry!

The Harz World Forest, the "Arboretum", is unique in the Harz Mountains. In the middle of our Harz forest landscape, thousands of tree species, woody plants and plants from all over the world have now become at home. Deer piston umach, vine leaf maple or cucumber magnolia - what sounds like exotic cuisine are sonorous names of foreign trees in the arboretum near Bad Grund. 600 species of wood from all over the world grow in the approximately 100 hectare park-like forest - planted by Harz foresters 30 years ago. Since 1975, employees of the Lower Saxony Forestry Office in Riefensbeek have looked after one of the largest botanical tree gardens in Germany.
