Porto Novo Beach is located in the municipality of Torres Vedras, Portugal, at the mouth of the Alcabrichel River. The Fonte dos Frades Spa is located halfway between the village of Maceira and Porto Novo Beach. Partially remodeled in 2014, it maintains the traditional design of Portuguese spa buildings.

The Passadiço das Escarpas opened in 2019 and connects Porto Novo and Maceira. The route leads past the beaches of Porto Novo and Santa Rita and there are several viewing platforms.
