Wonderful location, cottage and lake a dream

Beautiful mountain hut, friendly staff, easily reachable goal with a path through the woods in two hours. Or without poetry with a forest road.

Great location on the lake and best food

Great hut, friendly and very nice hosts. We stayed here overnight on our Iseltrail hike. Top and really rustic, with singing together with guitar accompaniment after dinner.

From the hut there are several ascent options - Berger Kogel - Lasörlinghütte - Muhs-Panoramaweg.

A beautiful, rustic hut. Here you can eat good, hearty food. You can only pay in cash. You can stay overnight in private rooms or in a camp with other hikers. You must register in advance, though. Because it is located on a road, the Krimmler Tauernhaus can also be reached by taxi shuttle from Krimml. On foot, the ascent from Krimml takes a good three and a half hours.
