Great hike, starting from the Aualm. The last part at the summit is a bit difficult, but with a little caution and concentration it is doable even for a flatlander like me 😉. The view at the top is unique!!!

The "Brandstatt reservoir" impresses with a width of 200 m and a length of 600 m. It's not exactly a scenic beauty; especially not when the large gray walls of the concrete pool protrude when the water level is low! It serves as a storage reservoir for the Schwarzach power plant.

A hike from the Aualm that anyone can do. Very nice summit cross where you should be careful because the walls drop vertically to Schuhflickersee. If you are already up there, you should also descend to the Schuflickersee. A very special setting.
