The Tempelbergwarte is a lookout tower on the 403 m high Tempelberg between the towns of Altenberg and Hadersfeld in the market town of St. Andrä-Wördern in Lower Austria. I visited this mountain as part of my Dwarf Mountain Tour series. My goal is to climb every mountain in the Vienna Woods. 04/15/2022 - Soon you will reach the Kia-Beri-Kreuz on the Tetzenberg. The Kia-Beri, meaning Cow Mountain, is not called that for nothing. Here is a fenced pasture for the cattle of an organic dairy farm. From there you can see far beyond the vineyards - to the skyline of Donau-City in the 22nd district and on a clear day even to the Schneeberg. I can only agree with this PLEASE! Please do not enter the cattle pasture, because it is private property. The "Kiaberikreiz" can also be viewed very well from outside the electric fence. Our cattle are not used to strangers. It can also be dangerous for hikers and cattle if hikers enter it.
