If you are already on the Michlberg you can also go straight to the neighboring Waschberg (Michlberg -> Gasthaus am Michlberg -> Parking -> leave the paved road at the next bend, straight into the forest, then keep right)
The Waschberg is slightly lower than the Michlberg (388m opposite 409m), beautiful view of the Danube valley from Vienna to Stockerau. The Waschberg is (as well as the Perchtoldsdorfer heath) a dry grassland and eponym for the Waschbergzone extending north to the Czech Republic. (Waschberg, Michlberg, Leiser Berge, Staatzer cliff)

Here on the Waschberg you will find a really impressive fauna and flora. Among other things, a colony of endangered ground squirrels and many rare plant species live here. The view is unique and a memorial stone commemorates the 1st Austrian Soaring Week 1923. Incidentally, there are some fun and steep trails down from the summit.
