The Leopoldsberg in Vienna invites you to an impressive hike and offers an impressive view of the city and the Danube. With its historical importance as a defensive structure in the 17th century, it also gives the hike an interesting historical background.

On the northern edge of Vienna, the Leopoldsberg "raises" 425 meters into the air. This is also the northeastern end of the Vienna Woods and the last foothills of the Alps drop steeply to the Danube here.
