Störnsteinn is located directly on the Bockl Cycle Path. There's also a good Zoigl (traditional German beer) restaurant there. Opening hours are posted along the path.

I think the capital of Zoigl is Neuhaus, where most of the Zoigl parlors are located.

In my opinion, the most beautiful Zoigl fountain so far.

A beautifully landscaped rest area on the Bockl Cycle Path at the former Störnstein stop, just before you have to cross the road. There's a table and chairs, information boards, and the Bockl Cycle Path's signature rails.

A well-developed but unfortunately somewhat boring cycle path. As is typical for a railway cycle path, there are only slight inclines, making it suitable for everyone. Bring provisions; we searched in vain for the "diverse rest stops" mentioned on the overview maps.

To call it a chapel is an exaggeration; it stands quite inconspicuously on the side of the road.

According to legend, it is said to have existed in the middle of the 16th century, but it was not built until later. The chapel takes its name from the landowner Schaller, a princely official. 1740 The chapel was built around this time, as part of the construction of St. Felix. 1900 The roof was renewed, commissioned by the daughter of the current landowner Rosner. 1946 The chapel was completely renovated at the instigation of city councilor Andreas Wirth. Walls and steps were reworked by master mason Baptist Greiner, master blacksmith Arnold (Flossschmied) made and donated a new iron door, and master painter Anton Betz from Pfreimd repainted the altar.
