At the entrance to Kellergasse stands the Old Town Hall, dating from 1604. A stone set into the gable wall bears this date, as well as the town's coat of arms featuring "St. Vitus im Häfele" – according to legend, a 12-year-old Sicilian boy who was thrown into a cauldron of boiling oil because of his Christian faith. Today, the Old Town Hall houses the municipal archives and various meeting rooms. (from the Flein municipality flyer)

I stopped here on my way to Stettenfels Castle, beautiful little lake.

The Hohrainhof state domain is a branch of the Heilbronn correctional facility. This agricultural facility is an open prison area. Prisoners are held there in the first stage of the relaxation phase in order to be allowed to go on day release after a set period of time.
