A beautiful section of the route, part of several official mountain bike trails. No technical issues, but a steady, gentle climb that becomes a bit steeper towards the end.

Forest road, more interesting in the upper third.

The difficulty level is low and there is shelter almost the entire way, which means a welcome cooling downhill in mid-summer.

When it rains the trail is muddy and impassable, slippery, best after a week of sunshine, then everything is dry and grippy and great to ride!

Some of the switchbacks can be shortened (sometimes even less effort, although very steep). There are technical features along the uphill, such as ramps for manual drops, a stone field or a step uphill. Further up there are a few north shore elements.

As already mentioned, the climb can be planned into several local tours. Definitely recommendable because it's a lot of fun both uphill and downhill due to its width. Very nice piece of forest.
