The circular wall on the Steineberger Ley is a prehistoric fortification on a basalt peak near Steineberg. The wall was made of basalt stones and possibly wooden logs. It probably dates back to around 200 BC and has been protected as a natural monument since 1939. The Demerather Mill was first documented in 1499. The current structure dates back to the 17th century. It was renovated between 1999 and 2001 and expanded with a timber-frame structure.

The Ulmen Maar is a maar belonging to the town of Ulmen in the Eifel region of Rhineland-Palatinate. The meromictic lake is up to 37 meters deep and is surrounded by an average 20-meter-high wall of tuff rock formed from the eruptions of the former volcano.

According to legend, Heinrich von Ulmen is said to have deposited a bag of earth from Christ's grave at the St. Anthony's Cross in the 17th century.
