The point is on the R7 near the Staning power plant near Maria im Winkel. This section of the Enns is also used by the Steyr Sailing Club.

I was treated very friendly as a guest, the food is top class. Easy to recommend.

Highly recommended section of the Enns cycle path. Although partly gravel, it is easy to drive on with trekking bikes. Rewarded for the kilometers previously on the road.

Unfortunately the beach bar was closed. But otherwise a very nice place

The Ausee is a 23-hectare bathing lake in the middle of the beautiful Danube meadows. In addition to clean bathing fun for young and old with spacious sunbathing areas, several restaurants and shady car parks, there is a multitude of attractive leisure and sports activities, in particular two water ski and wakeboard lifts and the aqua park. The lake is widely known for its excellent water quality even in hot summers, which is guaranteed by a strong groundwater flow, a depth of 6 to 8m and an open drain. Due to the varied natural design of the banks and sunbathing areas and the separation of traffic and recreational areas, the Ausee offers an optimal recreational landscape.
