The Salzburg Hochthron is 1,852 m above sea level. NHN, after the Berchtesgadener Hochthron, the second highest peak of the Untersberg massif in the Berchtesgaden Alps. You can easily climb to the summit via the Thomas-Eder-Steig; if you prefer a more comfortable route, you can take the Untersbergbahn.

The Zinkenkopf is the local mountain of the city of Hallein and the village of Bad Dürrnberg as well as the Berchtesgaden district of Oberau. It has an altitude of 1336 meters.

Very nice little climb with a generous summit plateau and a few benches in each direction. From here it goes e.g. B. further to the Stöhrhaus or Berchtesgadener Hochthron..... Very nice view with desire for more 😕

Short but beautiful tour with a wonderful view of the city of Salzburg and the Flachgau. Recommended but only during the week if you like it a little quieter
