The Ludwigsburger Hut (formerly Lehnerjoch Hut) offers a great view over to the Kaunergrat and down into the valley. There is a playground for children in front of the terrace. We had a comfortable stay in the small Larcher Alm. There are about 20 beds and a shower. Nice hosts!

This beautiful, original alpine pasture is located at 1,980 m above sea level. From here you have a good view of the Lechtal Alps, the Venetberg, the Kaunergrat and the Samnaun group. Access by car permitted. Production and sale of alpine cheese! Starting point for many hikes, e.g. the Panoramaweg, the Aifnerspitze, and much more.

The Erlanger Hut is a Category I mountain hut of the Erlangen section of the German Alpine Club. It is located in the northern Geigenkamm in the Ötztal Alps, at 2541 m above sea level near the Wettersee below the Wildgrat (2971 m), its valley town is Umhausen. Great hut with a great team! The food is excellent and also ideal for larger groups

The Larcher Alm is a highly recommended stop. In addition to delicious hearty dishes, there is also apple strudel and the homemade cake of the day. Very, very tasty. Even if it is not on the menu, there is good coffee on request. The prices are very fair and the couple who run the hut are the warmest and nicest on the entire crossing of the Alps. Great!
