Extremely nice and friendly staff. Lodges are clean and in good shape. Wild animals within the area like pavian, hippo, antilopes and elephants. Breakfast and Diner - tasteful and good. Covering vegetarian. The distance to the main entry for the national park is close. In some of the lodges you can see the vehicles on the driving ranges in the national park. It is and it feels like being in the park. July 2024

Spectacular view at eastern edge of Zomba plateau towards Zomba, Mulanje Mountains. Perfect sunrise and sunset spot.

Great hotel right in the middle of very picturesque tea plantations and at the foot of Mount Mulanje range. Decent rooms, food and drink.

Nice spot on the shore of Lake Malawi. Modern with working plumbing compared to most accommodation in Malawi and lacking a bit of atmosphere as a result. However a good place to start or finish your Malawian adventure.

Nice spot above Mua to stay the night. Worth visiting Kungoni Centre for Culture and Art. Nice hut style rooms although plumbing not good.

A lovely resort hotel and camping ground right on the shore of Lake Malawi. Great food and well stocked bar - our best food of the trip. Good boat trips to see Fish Eagles and perhaps a spot of snorkelling out round the island (not by the shore please).

A nice Safari lodge feel down an off road track. Nice basic African style huts spread across a wide area bordering a small river. Chance to see some wildlife including kudu, baboons and birds. Plumbing not that great.
