A great place with lots of space for children, an amazing view and really tasty buttermilk as well as homemade delicacies. Definitely a highlight and worth the trip, whether by bike or on foot! Very hospitable and the goats are really funny!

The Liechtenstein Gorge is not only St. Johann's greatest treasure. It is also one of Austria's most important treasures and was awarded second place on October 26, 2022 in the ORF show "9 Places 9 Treasures". Be sure to be in the gorge first thing in the morning before 9:30 a.m. (at least in high season) otherwise you will be waiting forever at the ticket office. Avoid the time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., otherwise you will just be pushed through.

The Liechtensteinklamm is a super impressive gorge. A refreshing alternative, especially on hot summer days. In addition to some tunnel structures, there is also an impressive spiral staircase.

Beautiful here highly recommended.

Super all-round view

With the Flying Mozart up to record a tightrope walk at the top. Class.

Starting or end point of the four hut hike below the Hochkönig massif. Optimal starting point for the day hood where sure-footedness and a head for heights are required. Some places are secured with ladders and wire ropes. The Taghaubenscharte with the Grandlspitz via ferrata would also be an option.
