Largest German Alpine Club hut with 200 overnight beds. Best starting point for the Watzmann crossing (the long tour is shortened by around 1200 meters of ascent and around 3 hours). The promising Watzmannhaus serves as a base for climbing the Watzmann. The hut is open from May to October. There are 200 beds in the dormitory and shared rooms.
