Very friendly hosts, also game dishes (probably always seasonal) which taste excellent, with the dog on the way there and back directly in front of the hut, keep a close eye on the alpine animals, although they are very peaceful.

The Dr. Erwin Pröll Millennium Observatory on the Hirschenkogel is a modern observation tower and a true highlight of the region.
