The Solsteinhaus is located at 1,805 meters at the foot of the Great Solstein in the Karwendel. There are 85 beds in rooms and dormitories, which can be booked directly on the website. The sanitary facilities have been modernized, and hot water in the showers is available for a small fee. The hut serves as a starting point for various mountain tours. Great hut🏠 Great food Rooms as well Access really great🌄(We went from Scharnitz through the Gleirschklamm👀👌🏻to the Kristenalm and then on to the Solsteinhaus. Really nice tour but the length of the tour is quite demanding👍🏻)

Amazing views from the top of Innsbruck. You can take 3 x cable cars to the top and then walk the last 100m up. Alternatively you can hike up over a day.

Here is a climbing garden with a practice via ferrata, which is not shown on many maps. It's only a short walk from the Solsteinhaus, but it's worth it.

We had a great overnight stay at the Solsteinhaus. Hiked from the Harmelekopf berg station over the Eppziler Scharte in about 4 hours in terrible rain. Solsteinhaus was a sight for sore eyes! The staff was welcoming with a drying room and decent rooms. The dinner was delicious and the services was very friendly! Top notch mountain hut :)
