The Solsteinhaus is located at 1,805 meters at the foot of the Great Solstein in the Karwendel. There are 85 beds in rooms and dormitories, which can be booked directly on the website. The sanitary facilities have been modernized, and hot water in the showers is available for a small fee.
The hut serves as a starting point for various mountain tours. There is also a climbing garden, various climbing routes and a flying fox. The house also has a seminar room for around 30 people.
