Very rustic DAV hut with around 50 beds. Often fully booked, so you have to make a reservation through Hüttenholiday. The hut is supplied by helicopter once a week, so the prices for food and drink are a little higher.

The Wasseralm is probably one of the coziest mountain huts. Picturesquely situated in a clearing. In the evening, deer walk past and greet the hikers.

Unfortunately it was foggy

It was foggy here 😤 but a lot of snow in mid-June

small AV hut located in a green valley. A small stream flows on both sides. There are only camps for sleeping here. In one hut there is room for 43 people. There are no showers and cell phone reception is not possible here either. Food is good and breakfast must be selected beforehand, the muesli was delicious and a lot. The evening highlight was the approx. 20 deer in front of the hut. I assume that the rest of the fruit and vegetables are distributed on the meadow.
