Beautiful mountain hut on the shore of the Giglachsee. Especially the location makes this mountain hut a real recommendation! The food at the hut itself as well as the sleeping places leave something to be desired.

Very friendly run alpine club hut with excellent food and enough sleeping places. The location is fantastic and for overnight stays on the Schladminger Tauern Höhenweg is ideal. I was already on the road here on the Höhenweg in 2021.

The exposed bench on the Schönblick offers an incomparable view both towards the Südwand hut and down the valley over the mountain range opposite. The entire ascent to the hut is really impressive!
