The Dalfazalm is a working alpine pasture located high above Lake Achensee at 1,693 m. They offer a variety of food and drinks, as well as homemade cakes. The view from the terrace is beautiful. 👍

A great hut at 1834m that offers a very tasty Kaspresskndöel soup. It is even more fantastic to enjoy the food/drink on the terrace. The view of the Achensee and the mountains is breathtaking. You can also stay overnight at the hut. It offers mattress dormitories, shared rooms and twin rooms. The twin rooms are booked up very quickly, especially during the holidays. The hut is a perfect starting point for a variety of hikes and climbs in the Rofan Mountains. It is one of the few huts that is open in both winter and summer. The Erfurter Hütte is ingeniously located right next to the mountain station of the Rofan cable car and as a base offers the opportunity to explore the Rofan mountains without time pressure. From the terrace you have a great view down to Lake Achensee. It is open both in summer and in winter. The hut offers space for about 76 people divided into 24 room camps/beds and in comfortable, newly built mattress camps for 50 people. Very nice Alm with very nice and friendly operators. The food is delicious and the portions adequate. Nobody will starve to death 😉. The view of the valley or the mountains is mega impressive.
