1300년 이전부터 교구가 존재했던 것으로 추정되며, 1784년에 재건되었습니다. 교회의 핵심은 중세 시대, 아마도 14세기에 지어진 것으로 추정되며, 고딕 양식의 성가대석 핵심과 기존의 평면을 유지하면서 1703년에 바로크 양식으로 개조되었습니다.

웅장한 바로크 건축물은 멀리서도 보입니다. 정원은 눈을 즐겁게 하며, 내부를 둘러본 후 또는 둘러보는 동안 머물기에 좋습니다.

Here near Stopfenreuth, you gradually emerge from the Danube floodplains. It's one of the most beautiful sections of the Danube Cycle Path.

From here, you can observe how the Danube River manages to change direction (and how a military tower was strategically placed there in the Middle Ages) to the east, towards Bratislava. There are benches and drinking fountains where you can quench your thirst.

The gravel path along the Rußbach stream near Engelhartstetten offers an open, expansive landscape. The path runs mostly flat along the stream, surrounded by meadows, fields, and wide views, offering unobstructed views of the surrounding area. The smooth gravel surface is ideal for gravel bikes and provides a natural riding experience. Especially in sunny weather, the route reveals its full scenic beauty, with tranquil waters, gently rolling banks, and expansive views of the Marchfeld region.

Schloss Hof (formerly Schloßhof, originally Hoff an der March) is the largest of the six Marchfeld castles. It is located east of Vienna in the village of Schloßhof in the market town of Engelhartstetten.

The “Gate of Freedom” memorial is located at the confluence of the Danube and Morava rivers near Bratislava and commemorates the former Czechoslovak border with Austria, the so-called Iron Curtain.
