On the way to Lake Palfnersee, it is better to take the detour via the deserted alpine pasture if you are not in a hurry (+1h) - the path is nicer, emptier and you will be rewarded with a great view from the lonely shore!

Palfnersee is easily accessible from the Graukogel mountain station in 1.5 hours. Wonderful mountain lake.

A wonderful section on a "plateau", or a beautiful route at a height that allows for a great view

Great hike, starting from the Aualm. The last part at the summit is a bit difficult, but with a little caution and concentration it is doable even for a flatlander like me 😉. The view at the top is unique!!!
