Definitely worth a visit

Nice place as an ideal starting point for tours or for a break in between. In summer there is a kiosk directly on the Neckarlauer with seating and a great view of the river and the jetty. Alternatively, you can also go for ice cream at the “Hemp Market”. Beautiful, obvious destinations: Dilsberg, Neckarsteinach, Hirschhorn (with castle), Eberbach or Heidelberg (castle, Philosophenweg, old town).

The jetty of the “White Fleet Heidelberg” is also located here!

Very nice to drive with many highlights,

Here at the corner of the shopping street is the Cafe Tagblatt. Lots of seating outside in the summer, but the inside is also well worth seeing.

Here the masses of visitors spread out a little. Some stay in the café, others continue to stroll along the pedestrian zone and still others decide to take a walk along the Neckar.

The Heidelberg market square is defined by the town hall, the Heiliggeistkirche and the Hercules fountain in the middle. Public trials used to take place here. Today it houses the weekly market and can only be reached on foot. Source: Tripadvisor
