The 127 steps ascent are worth it

A nice place to rest A stop is worthwhile! Very nice service! The climb up the tower is worth it! The ascent for adults costs 1€ and children 50 cents!

A very beautiful plateau, with the dwarf tower and well-situated places to stop. From here the view goes over the Feldberg over to the Kandel, far behind the Simonswald valley of the Wildern Gutach, to the almost distant Vosges.

Delicious cakes and snacks. Great view from the tower.

An extraordinary Vesperstube together with a lookout tower, which with its 25 m height offers a clear view over the Black Forest, as far as the Swabian Alb and, when the view is particularly clear, as far as the Alps.

Definitely worth a detour. Very nice staff, a great and inexpensive menu and when everything is closed, there is still a fridge with drinks and a trustworthy checkout for every hiker. Up here you can have a wonderful rest, eat delicious food and enjoy a great view at the same time. Definitely visit.

So don't go there Monday and Tuesday. The tower and restaurant are not open then. At the moment a bit limited due to Corona, but it's okay again.
