The castle park was purchased by the municipality and laid out in its current form between 1982 and 1988.

In the heart of Gemmingen, between the castle courtyard and Wiesenstrasse, is the old stately castle park, which was acquired and renovated by the municipality of Gemmingen in the 1980s. The idea behind it was English gardening. The center of the site today is the castle park pond, which is fed by its own spring, the Murrbach, and mainly by an old pipe from the Losterbach spring. Adjacent to the northern bank is an octagonal wooden pavilion. There are various events, concerts, children's performances and also an open-air cinema. Every two years, the park festival takes place across the entire area, organized by Gemmingen and Stebbach clubs. Not far from the pavilion, on the edge of the path, you will come across a bronze group, the Gänseliesel. It was donated by a Gemmingen citizen. There is also an old war memorial in a clearing in the trees. The castle park is now the green heart of the municipality and is an integral part of community life. (Source: Heilbronnerland.de)

A small forest lake in the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park with beautiful rest areas by the lake. Forest trail and bird trail on and around the lake.

A beautiful lake that is easy to walk around and can also be reached via the nature trail. Early in the morning it was quiet and atmospherically very nice.

Very nice park with a lake and benches and a pavilion. The bike path leads right through it.

At the lake you will find a kiosk, a children's playground, a sandy beach for small children, a beach volleyball court and spacious lawns for a successful day out. The nearby vineyards are also ideal for cycling and hiking in the Kraichgau. The lake was created by human hands around 1680 and is the oldest natural swimming pool in the region. The first bathing regulations were issued there in 1903.
