The Werse cycle path is a very beautiful route, very rural, basically pure nature.

A great route on the Werse

There are well-developed cycle paths along the Werse, mostly you have a view of the river. A little too few benches and a lot of pedestrians in the hot spots on weekends - but a worthwhile route.

Warendorf has a beautiful old town with a large market square.

The Werseradweg is incredibly varied on the section from Albersloh to Pleistermühle.

The lock in Münster is a highly recommended destination for a family outing, offering an exciting adventure. It's located on the Dortmund-Ems Canal. The Werseradweg is really an excellent route. Very rural with many informative signs along the way and opportunities to relax. Very nice route and well marked. A procedure is practically impossible.
