Great observation tower and you can walk in... the landlord makes Tyrolean dumplings and there is Watzdorfer Pils on tap 😜🙏 Note!!!! NO typical Thuringian cuisine... no roulades or anything like that....

Great destination 🙏 By the way, the local gastronomy is highly recommended... Homemade dumplings with a Tyrolean recipe ☝️ But be careful... not typical Thuringian cuisine... but super tasty 🥰

At an altitude of 786.1 m, we reach the Meuselbacher Kuppe. The inn with its tower is unfortunately closed. Today, the view over the valleys and mountains is dull and gray.

Unfortunately the path is still closed (see https://www.komoot.de/highlight/4277747) . But there is a trail (see https://www.komoot.de/tour/732309410) above the path that leads to the 14 pillar cave (see https://www.komoot.de/highlight/1185894) at the edge of the forest.
