The quaint scout house Lindersberg is located in the middle of the forest and is part of the Feuerstein castle complex. This also includes the adjoining campground and everything together is administered by the German Scout Association St. Georg. The house, which is open all year round and offers space for groups of up to 40 people, was built during the Second World War and has since been expanded twice and renovated several times. The equipment includes oil central heating, solar collectors for water preparation and a telephone connection.

Private individuals can also request to rent the Scout House and/or the campsite. You can request to rent it via the Bamberg Diocesan Association's website https://www.dpsg-bamberg.de/haeuser/pfadfinderhaus-lindersberg/. The campsite is quaintly located halfway through the forest, with a wildly romantic fire pit. The house, on the other hand, is suitable for many events and groups, although you'll need to bring a few people to rent it.

I can warmly recommend a break in the cake mill! Nice guests, very good food and price / performance ratio are great! After dinner you can lie down in the meadow somewhere by the river and relax ;-)

The cake mill is a Franconian wasteland in the lower Aufseß valley, but the restaurant of the same name has more than just cake. Home-style German and Franconian cuisine at good prices. Beautiful beer garden with various mill exhibits, brisk friendly service. A stop here is absolutely necessary 😁😉.
