Very nice cycle path along the Lahn, not crowded.

Currently, the cycle path from Limburg is only accessible as far as Balduinstein because there is a construction site there.

As soon as you have left Diez behind you, it quickly becomes quiet and green on the Lahn cycle path. The valley gets narrower and more impressive on the way to Koblenz.

A beautiful photo motif with a great view of the Lahn, but above all a bridge full of history. The stone round arches date back to the 16th century. During the Thirty Years' War, part of the bridge was blown up and replaced by the metal construction in the 19th century. As far as I know, this combination is unique and makes the bridge a cultural monument.

Medieval atmosphere when staying overnight in the youth hostel. The thick walls of the rooms and the great view of the castle opposite were a new experience. Food was good. Packed lunch available for an additional charge.

Beautiful health resort, a beautiful city in itself and highly recommended for a visit 😊

Beautiful castle on the throne

Old health resort where the tsars, princes and emperors were regulars. Today the place has had its prime. Nevertheless, the old buildings are still beautiful.
