Koblenz Cable Car, also known as the Buga Cable Car or Rhine Cable Car The Koblenz Cable Car, also known as the Buga Cable Car or Rhine Cable Car, is an aerial cable car across the Rhine in Koblenz. It was built as an attraction and environmentally friendly transport link for the 2011 Federal Garden Show. A beautiful rocky root path leads to Sayn Castle. The castle was used by the Counts of Sayn-Wittgenstein as their family castle in the 12th century. Today, celebrations can be organized by the restaurant and bridal couples can be married in the registry office.

The Roman tower is located on the Pulverberg in Sayn-Bendorf and is part of the LIMES UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was reconstructed as a watchtower with palisades in 1912 by route commissioner Georg Loeschcke of the Reich Slim Commission. A monument was erected to him on the ascent path. There is a wonderful view of Bendorf-Sayn, the Rhine and the Giant Mountains.

Shortly after the death of Kaiser Wilhelm I, the idea arose to erect a memorial to the Kaiser, who had brought about the complete unification of Germany after three wars. Three years later, in 1891, Kaiser Wilhelm II, the grandson of the deceased, chose the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz as a suitable location. In order to create space for the memorial, a port of refuge was filled in, which at that time was located at the mouth of the Moselle. The Deutsches Eck in its present form was created. On August 31, 1897, the copper-engraved monument to Kaiser Wilhelm I was inaugurated in the presence of Kaiser Wilhelm II.

The Koblenz cable car covers almost 850 meters on its way and reveals a breathtaking view over the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle through the large panes of the panorama cabins.
