Beautiful sculpture with a nice place to rest, the climb here is quite tough!

The Idarkopf offers excellent panoramic views over the surrounding Hunsrück heights. The new Idarkopf tower, a hybrid construction made of wood and hot-dip galvanized steel, was opened in December 2022 after the previous wooden tower, which was damaged by fire in 2018, was demolished in February 2022.

You can enjoy wonderful views and watch the mountain bikers on their spectacular descents

The observation tower offers a completely different view over the Erbeskopf

The observation tower on the Idarkopf mountain in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park, located in the EdelSteinLand region, offers breathtaking panoramic views from its height of over 30 meters.
