In order to get the best angle for a landscape view of the Feldsee, it is worthwhile to walk down the narrow path behind the Bismarck monument about halfway up. From there you have the best view. But be careful: do not leave the existing paths and when using a tripod make sure not to destroy the roots of the plants 🌱

In clear weather a stunning view over the entire Alps main ridge from east to west, about 250km. Splendid! As if you can touch the mountains.

The highest mountain in the Black Forest. When the weather is nice, you have a beautiful view of the Black Forest. There are several ways to get up here. You walk on the Feldberg. There are various hiking trails upstairs or you can use the Feldbergbahn and then walk upstairs. No matter what you take, it is definitely worth it.

Has open from 10 a.m. and knows how to convince with a nice atmosphere, super nice hosts and a fabulously powerful piece of Black Forest cherry cake (or other homemade cake). People like to rest here and feel good.
