The nature reserve is in two parts with a total size of 42ha and was designated in 1980. The rear waterfall consists of two waterfalls. At the rearmost waterfall, you can regulate the amount of water yourself with the help of a dam via the dam above. It's not just fun for young children.

Imposing icicles in freezing cold. From the Upper Hörschbachtfall through the gorge to the Hinteren Hörschbachtal, not recommended. Very! difficult to walk, really dangerous.
