Not so much hustle and bustle, quietly located in the forest

The Haslach breaks through the hard porphyry rock in a spectacular way and reveals the elemental forces of the water. Even in the early days of tourism after 1900, the Rechenfelsen was an attraction that was often depicted on postcards. You need a bit of fitness and sure-footedness to see the steep rock faces overhanging on both sides, through which the Haslach forces its way, from the vantage point of the Rechenfelsen.

Beautiful little gorge, you walk over hill and dale, sturdy shoes are highly recommended. Dangerous when wet.
