From the bridge at the evangelical church you have a very nice view of the Rur at the back of the Red House.

Shortly before reaching the old town, there is a top vantage point on the corpse alley. Nicely located, with a wonderful view of the evangelical church and the Red House, among other things.

Very beautiful half-timbered houses in the old town of Monschau. Monschau is located directly on the Rur, which has cut deep into the mountains and created a particularly beautiful location for the city. Beautiful!

The Victor Neels Bridge spans the Urftsee at this point and, with a very successful steel cable suspension bridge construction, forms a great transition for cyclists and hikers. The bridge is named after the former commander of the Belgian forces at Camp Vogelsang. Great experience when it starts to rock 😁.
