At the top near the castle there is a free parking space for cars with no time limit. From there it's a five-minute walk to the castle or Thick Tower.

Rosenstein Castle is a country castle in Stuttgart's Rosenstein Park, which was built in the 1820s. Today the Stuttgart Natural History Museum is in the building.

If you drive around the castle, you can drive behind the main building. There you can see some of the facility even without a guided tour or entry.

Rosenstein Castle is a country palace in Stuttgart, which was built in the classical style in 1824-1829 under King Wilhelm I by his court architect Giovanni Salucci. The palace is in the immediate vicinity of the Wilhelma zoological and botanical gardens on the eastern edge of an English landscaped garden, next to the Rosenstein Park. Behind the castle you have a beautiful view of the Neckar with the lock and railway bridges.
