Annette von Droste-Hülshoff lived here until 1846. The Droste-Landschaft-Lyrikweg with various stations can be hiked between Hülshoff Castle and the Rüschhaus house.

This is a must see home with grounds, really great

Annette von Droste-Hülshoff lived, wrote and wrote poetry here for almost twenty years starting in 1826. The house can only be visited as part of a guided tour. The baroque gardens and the surrounding forest can be visited free of charge.

You can enter the Rüschhaus with a guided tour and the tour is really good. The man has a clue and tells the story of Annette von Droste Hülshoff very appealingly. It's really worth it.
