A very beautiful, idyllically located and typically Münsterland moated castle. Built sometime around 1600 and restored after a fire in the early 1900s. It is privately owned and inhabited. The cycle path leads directly past the castle and offers beautiful views - tip!

The castle is privately owned and inhabited, so you can only look at it from the outside, but if you are on the Münsterland Railway Cycle Route, a short detour here is worthwhile. It is one of the most beautiful complexes on the 100 Castles Route.
