The Kemitzenstein near Kümmersreuth is a real highlight for those who like rock formations, you can explore them, climb or use the via ferrata. There are plenty of places to sit and relax. Parking is available behind Kümmersreuth at the Kaider rest area.

The Staffelberg is one of the geotopes in the district of Lichtenfels. In 2008, the Bavarian State Office for the Environment awarded it the quality seal of Bavaria's most beautiful geotopes during a ceremony.

The path through the gorge goes through picturesque nature. Lots of rocks, a steep hill on one side, a drop off on the other.

A narrow fairytale path meanders through this pretty, very green valley! The section of the route is mostly easy to walk, with two small challenges that require a little step resistance and physical effort, especially when it is wet and slippery. Very worthwhile and shady!
