It's wonderful to hike along the rippling water

I'm at home in the Allgäu mountains. I also know the mountains very well and had to realize that the gooseneck horn is suggested too trivially. It should be suggested as extra alpine and in places with extremely exposed spots. I have seen inexperienced people on all fours.

This unique natural monument is located in Oberstdorf and is the deepest rock gorge in Central Europe. It is one of the most impressive geotopes in Bavaria! It is also one of the most popular attractions in the Allgäu and stretches from Oberstdorf Tiefenbach to the neighboring Kleinwalsertal. Access is possible from both sides. The Breitachklamm is the deepest rock gorge in Central Europe. The light green to turquoise shimmering water, the rock formations and the steep rock walls are impressive. I think my green “dumpling” is the prettiest.

After the upper and lower Gaisalpsee there is another highlight, the Geisalptobel. The water tumbles down from the Unterer Geisalpsee in a waterfall and finally turns into a peaceful stream in many cascades.

Several waterways. The path runs almost parallel to the course of the river. Sturdy shoes are required. Not suitable for strollers.

Fantastically located very cold mountain lake in an idyllic location that is not difficult to reach

The Gaisalpsee is in a fantastic location below the Rubihorn and is a great place, especially in spring. Up here there is usually snow for a long time.
