Crossing the Moos in late winter is a wonderful hike that can be undertaken anytime and in any weather, as the trails are beautiful and easy to walk. A wonderful tour in the Bavarian foothills of the Alps with the delightful beer garden at the Ramsach Church. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quieter trails (except in spring and midsummer).

A lovely, relaxed hike around the Murnauer Moos, possible in (almost) any weather without any significant elevation gain. The "boardwalk" is sensational!

The idyllic Pflegersee is not far from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. With a view of the Königsstand mountain range, you can swim here or stop off at the nearby mountain inn.
